By the end of this page you’ll have a Brudcast login, a verified email and phone, and an organization to work in. It takes about five minutes.
Before you start: have your work email and your mobile phone to hand. Both receive a 6-digit code.

Join an organization you were invited to

Were you invited by a teammate? Follow these four steps instead of the signup below. You don’t need an organization of your own to join one, and you can create one later from the organization switcher.
1

Open the invitation link

The invitation email contains a link to https://app.prod.brudcast.com/invite/…. If you aren’t signed in, you’re taken to Log in. Log in, or select Sign up if you don’t have an account yet. Brudcast remembers the invitation while you do.
2

Verify your email, if you're new

A new account verifies its email with a 6-digit code, as in the signup below. Brudcast then brings you back to the invitation.
3

Accept the invitation

On You’ve been invited, check the address after “You’re signed in as”, then select Accept Invitation. To turn it down, select Decline.
4

Land in the organization

After Invitation accepted, you’re taken to the organization’s dashboard. What you can do there depends on the role you were given. See Members and roles.

Sign up and set up your organization

1

Go to https://app.prod.brudcast.com/auth/signup. On Create account, enter your Full name, Work email and a Password, then select Sign up.If your sign-up page shows Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple, you can use one of those instead of a password. You still go through the remaining steps below.
2

Verify your email

Brudcast emails you a 6-digit code. On Verify your email, enter it and select Verify. No code? Check your spam folder, then select Resend under “Didn’t receive the code?”.
3

Add your phone number

On Add your phone number, enter your number in Phone number and select Send verification code. Enter the 6-digit code from the text message and select Verify. The code expires in 10 minutes. If you mistyped the number, select Change number. Each account needs its own phone number, because it’s used for security codes.
4

Set up two-factor authentication

On Secure your account, pick one or more methods, then select Set up 1 method (the count changes with your choice). After you set up an authenticator app, Brudcast shows your backup codes. They’re shown only once and each works a single time. Select Copy all or Download and store them somewhere safe, then select Continue. You can select Skip for now and set this up later in Account > Security. We recommend you don’t skip: your account can reach every contact in your organization.
5

Set up your organization

The Set up your organisation form has four short screens. Select Continue after each.
  1. Organisation name and Country of incorporation.
  2. Which channels will you send on? Pick every channel you plan to use. Each one gets its own setup track on your dashboard.
  3. How will you send? Choose Campaigns to send from the dashboard, or API or SMTP to send from your own application. This decides which steps your checklist shows.
  4. Industry and Company size. Both are optional.
Select Finish setup. Your choices on screens 2 and 3 only shape the checklist. They don’t limit what you can use later.

What happens next

You land on the dashboard’s Overview page. Your organization already has: If you skipped two-factor authentication, you may see Protect your account when you log in, with Enable two-factor authentication and Remind me later.

Your Getting Started checklist

The dashboard’s Overview page carries a Getting Started checklist until every step is done or you select Dismiss. It has an account track plus one track per channel: the channels you picked when you set up your organization, plus any channel you’ve bought a paid plan for. Your answer to How will you send? decides which steps appear. Every step is worked out from your real data, so you never tick anything, and the header counts how many are done. Your trial address is a real verified sending domain, so it completes both email domain steps as soon as it’s issued. They read Trial sending address issued and Trial address verified, and they point at your own domain once you verify one. A track you can’t work on shows Locked, with Subscription required when the channel needs an active plan or Product disabled when Brudcast no longer offers it. SMS and WhatsApp are never locked for want of a subscription, because they’re paid from wallet credits instead. To add a track for another channel, use the Sending on another channel? banner: select Add channel, pick the channels, then Save channels.

Troubleshooting

Why: email codes can land in spam, and text messages can take a minute on some networks.Fix: wait for the countdown, then select Resend. For the phone step, check the number and select Change number if it’s wrong.
Why: you’re signed in with a different email address from the one the invitation was sent to, or the invitation has expired or been cancelled.Fix: if Switch Account appears, select it and sign in with the invited address. Otherwise ask the person who invited you to resend the invitation from Team > Invitations.
Why: your phone or authenticator app is no longer available.Fix: sign in with another method you set up, such as email or SMS, then review your methods in Account > Security. If you have no other method, contact support@brudcast.com. See Account security.
