Both of these live on the Privacy tab of your account settings. They cover you as a person: your organization’s contacts are separate, and stay with the organization.
Before you start: open the account menu, select Account settings, then the Privacy tab. You need your password to delete your account.

Export your data

Under Export your data, select Request export. Brudcast emails you when the file is ready; come back and select Download. The file is JSON, with all times in UTC. It holds your profile, the organizations you belong to with your role in each, invitations you sent and received, your sign-in history and known devices, your sessions, your two-factor methods, notifications addressed to you personally, any deletion requests, and your connected accounts.
Passwords, security keys, tokens and backup codes are never included. Nor are your organization’s contacts — this is data about you as a person.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your login and personal data from Brudcast. It happens 30 days after you ask, so you have time to change your mind.
Once the 30 days have passed, deletion can’t be undone. If you just want a copy of your data, export it first.
1

Start the deletion

Under Delete account, select Delete account.
2

Confirm it's you

Enter your password under Confirm your password, and optionally say why you’re leaving in up to 1,000 characters.
3

Submit

Select Delete my account. Brudcast emails you the deletion date and a link to cancel, and the section counts down the days.
You keep using Brudcast normally until the date, and you get a reminder email 7 days before it. Use the cancellation link before the date to stop it.
The cancellation link in that email points to a page that isn’t available yet. If you want to stop a deletion, write to support@brudcast.com before the date rather than relying on the link.

What happens on the deletion date

Your name, email address, phone number and photo are removed, you’re signed out everywhere, your password and two-factor methods stop working, and you’re removed from every organization. The email address is freed, so you could sign up with it again later. To choose who takes over, make that person an admin before you delete your account. See Members and roles.

Accounts nobody signs in to

If nobody signs in to an account for 365 days, Brudcast deletes it. You’re emailed 7 days before, and signing in cancels it.
